Bushido School of Martial Arts first started of as a dream that two people had, and was made into a reality when Martial Arts started to become a money making event instead of what it was truly meant to be an Art not for money but for self defence and to promote a family oriented tradition.

Bushi means "Warrior/Samurai" and Do means "the way" because all our students should follow the way of the warrior.  Warriors not only in Martial Arts but also in their school, work place and among members of the community.   We teach our students that the best way in life is, don't judge people until you judge yourself first, always be humble in everything that you say or do and your rewards will be greater.

We are a family oriented environment, not only do we take the time to teach the students Traditional Martial Arts, self defence and other techniques, but we have also formed a bond with them in their lives as a surrogate father, mother, sister, brother, son and daughter.  We encourage our students to interact with one another and we have school outings such hikes, family days etc.

We teach Traditional Karate, Self Defence, Weaponry, Aikido, Jujitsu and Judo.  Meditation is also a focal point in our school and private lessons are given by Sensei for those who would like to enhance themselves.

We at Bushido are please to be a part of Shuko-Kai International in the USA, a school that teaches Traditional Martial Arts under Shihan Kunio Miyake.

We hope to widen our students participation in competition not only in Trinidad but to other countries
